Rix (Ricky Feria) is a performing guitarist and producer with over ten years of experience touring with numerous bands and artists.
The Hip Snacks
Rix is currently the guitarist for the The Hip Snacks, a powerhouse six-piece of explosive soul music based out of Denver, CO.
The band released their acclaimed debut album “What Lies Ahead” in June 2024, which has since earned nearly 700k streams on Spotify alone. They finished the year capping a huge year of growth with a direct support slot for Grammy Nominated Artists Maggie Rose at the Bethesda Theatre in Maryland. The Hip Snacks have also supported other national touring acts such as Anderson East, Stop Light Observations, Clay Street Unit and many more.
The Hip Snacks recorded with legendary Emmy Award winning producer Steve Avedis at Colorado Sound Studios, authentically capturing their signature blend of piercing vocals, dominant rhythms, and blistering solos over songs that can’t help but make you dance.
The band is getting ready to go into the studio to record their sophomore album in April and is currently on tour until the end of July 2025.
Boogie Lights
Rix is also the guitarist for Disco House DJ/Producer Boogie Lights‘ Live Band “The Boogie Bunch”.
“Boogie Lights takes listeners on a kaleidoscopic trip through love, connection, and positivity. Blending everything from funkadelic soundscapes to captivating hip-hop beats, and jammy dance-riddled grooves he creates a sound that becomes therapy for the spirit. Hence the name, DISCO DANCE THERAPY.”
Rix has been performing in Denver with Boogie Lights since 2023 having headlined some of the city’s prominent venues such as Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, The Bluebird Theatre, and Globe hall among other venues. He also recorded guitar on Boogie Light’s Debut LP Disco Dance Therapy and co-produced two of the tracks.
Conscious Pilot
Rix was a founding member of the Fusion Rock band Conscious Pilot where he was the lead guitarist and songwriter from 2014-2022. Rix recorded and produced the bands debut LP “Strange World” released in 2019 and EP “Autopilot” released in 2017. Lead by Rix and co-founding member Jake Gust, Conscious Pilot went on to perform at many festivals and venues around the country with notable headliners including Matisyahu, Marcus King, Umphrey’s McGee, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, STS9, Taz Neiderauer, Ghost Note, Molly Hatchet, Eric Krasno, TAUK, Big Something, Moon Hooch, Sungazer, Living Colour and many more.

Rix also releases music as a solo artist. Combining his signature guitar sound with years of music production experience, Rix is creating a very unique sound as a solo producer. In the last two years he has released over 8 singles and two EPs , amounting to over 120,000 streams on Spotify alone.
Rix is an endorsed artist with Black Diamond Strings and is part of the Jim Dunlop artist family.
